Parkway Pizza is a family style restaurant that underwent a dramatic transformation from 80’s style pizza joint with outdated aesthetics to modern and sophisticated eatery with a highly functional design. This user focused space was renovated to cater equally to both dine in and grab and go customers, with customer experience placed at the forefront of importance with each design decision. Purposeful spatial planning allows for long lines during peak lunch and dinner hours without creating congestion or disturbing customers enjoying their meal. Modern technology was incorporated to enhance the business efficiency and as well as the user experience through the addition of a digital menu, and a long communal dining island with integrated pop up outlets. This communal island is flanked by two walls of custom built in booths to maximize the seating opportunities.

A combination of rich wood accents and modern geometric fabrics create a sophisticated yet playful and approachable space. A custom neon sign was designed to replace existing signage, and was placed front and center as a focal point that draws the customer in to the space. Unique elements like the decorative ceiling tiles, thoughtfully selected light fixtures, and raw wood bar front bring character to this cherished Cheyenne pizza spot.
