Myrtle Beach Hilton Double Tree

“Coastal design and contemporary details await you in this beachfront retreat”

We had the opportunity to transform an existing, ‘tired’ SpringMaid Hotel into a new Hilton – DoubleTree hotel. Following the Hilton Brand Standards, we created a design that is contemporary and sophisticated, yet fun and whimsical, honoring the local coastal feel and local Myrtle Beach landscape.

The existing ‘Public’ building was ‘bull dozed’, making way for a new raised second floor public building located near the beach and ocean. Upon entry into the building, one is greeted with a generous room full of a variety of cozy and high dining seating areas. Complementing the generous ceilings height is a wall of windows to view the vast ocean. Check-in area is just to the left, featuring reclaimed wood wall and custom art sculptures replicating local ‘fish’ that can be found at near by pier fishing spots.

The property is also home to a three-story conference center, Pier restaurant and two guestroom buildings that house a combined 452 guestrooms. Views of the shoreline and nearby pier were given utmost importance with floor to ceiling windows that allow guests access to their own patio overlooking the beach. Playful floral patterns, bright blue accents, and reclaimed wood were selected to create an ocean inspired palette at this beachfront retreat.
