Windsong Estate is a 9,700 square foot, two story events center located in Severance, Colorado. The pre-manufactured metal building sits atop Bridle Hill. The project includes a banquet hall that can seat 336 guests, a full kitchen, a storage space, a grooms room, bathrooms and a bridal wing studio. The kitchen and bathrooms are centrally located to serve all users. A main goal of the project was to create a modern, yet comfortable event space with a conservative budget.
The pre-manufactured metal building was dressed up with high interest sloped roofs and a stone entry wall. VFLA was able to create a clean roof line by keeping the mechanical equipment screened on the ground. It was important for the client to have flexibility with the space so a movable partition was added to the design to separate the larger banquet space into two smaller event rooms.
