Renovation

Size

19,000 square feet

This project consisted of interior design and architectural services for a remodel of an existing historic structure. A skylight ‘spine’ was added to the architectural design to enliven the interior space with light, while keeping with the original intent of the historic architecture, and a new rear entry was added to allow for direct entrance from the parking lot. The interior of the building was redesigned to better utilize the space and create a more inviting visual from the street. Designed to reflect the Mid-Century Modern style, the interior is a burst of energy in bright tones and custom detailing that is reflective of the design era and invigorating to experience. Custom details included built-in furniture pieces, including the back-painted custom desks at the lobby, which add to the theme but also maximized the space in what is a small footprint for a bank lobby.
