This 4,200 sq ft residence epitomizes respectful site design in a natural mountain setting. With over 30 existing mature trees directly adjacent the building footprint only one tree was sacrificed during the construction. This elaborate floor plan strategically winds its way around the trees and boulders to frame intimate views of the landscape from the master bedroom and magnificent vista from the deck of the valley below and the reservoir beyond. Careful coordination with the engineer allowed the structure to feel hunkered into the site creating a humble front façade.
