For more than 40 years Footers Catering has catered some of the most amazing Colorado Events but in 2019, they decided it was time to not only cater the events, but also provide a space for them. That is when Anthony and April Lambatos created the idea behind Social Capitol @ Footers Catering. They would move from their 11,000sf catering operation to a new 50,000 sf building. The existing sport clothing factory and store would require an entire revamp.

After construction wrapped up in March of 2021, the space now offers a sophisticated and timeless aesthetic to host a wide variety of events. The exterior received new finishes as well as canopies and overhead doors for food service delivery.
Upon entry of the building, you are welcomed by a large reception/waiting space with a unique custom reception desk and meeting table. This room also contains many options of fabrics and plates to get event design discussion started. From the reception area, you can peak into the event space through four, 12’ frameless glass panels.

The first level event space is a wonderful 6,500 sf, with custom lighting and a large full-service bar, complete with glass shelving, decorative pendants, stone and full height cabinet storage flanking each side of the back bar. Just off the event space is an exhibition kitchen and a tasting room with elite finishes to offer a first-class experience to potential clients.

Behind the bar, the is a full-size kitchen of 6,500 sq containing a multitude of kitchen equipment, including a 40’ hood. The kitchen also hosts two large dishwash stations, one in the kitchen and one in the catering storage, as well as two full size offices.
On the second level, you will find the second event space of 3,500 sf that overlooks the first level event space. Beyond this event area, are re-designed office spaces for the entire catering and event staff. Not to be forgotten is the large breakroom for lounging, meetings and additional staff events.
