300 Mountain is a dynamic new infill project designed to energize a key corner of the Downtown District. Acting as a catalyst for revitalization, the building introduces a bold, modern form while maintaining a dialogue with the district’s historic context.
The structure’s warm copper-toned cladding and masonry base echo the materials and scale of nearby historic buildings, creating continuity through color, texture, and rhythm. Its signature curved parapet evoke movement and fluidity, offering a fresh contrast to the solid, rectilinear form of the neighboring historic Armory Building.
Strategically located next to an established music venue, the building enhances the energy and foot traffic of the area, contributing to a vibrant, arts-focused corner of downtown. With its pedestrian-friendly storefronts and sculptural form, 300 Mountain helps weave together the past and future of Fort Collins through site-specific, forward-looking design.
